About Us

Founded in 1957, St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School provides exceptional education within a faith-based environment, fostering learning, involvement, and confidence.  Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Carson City, our school is part of the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community.  With a focus on academic excellence and spiritual growth, our students learn to model Christ, serve their community, and respect all cultures while becoming engaged, global citizens.

Fundraising is vital to our mission of keeping tuition affordable. Thanks to generous fundraising efforts and parish support, we can offer a high-quality education at a reduced cost.
